Phó Thủ tướng đã giao Bộ Công Thương, nghiên cứu, có các biện pháp thúc đẩy tăng năng lực sản xuất thép thành phẩm trong nước, hướng tới đáp ứng được cơ bản nhu cầu trong nước; nghiên cứu điều chỉnh sự mất cân đối cung ứng sản phẩm thép trên thị trường để ưu tiên thị trường trong nước thông qua việc điều chỉnh, cân đối khối lượng xuất khẩu thép thành phẩm.

Với Bộ Xây dựng, cần chủ động nghiên cứu, hướng dẫn thay đổi công nghệ xây dựng nhằm giảm tải lượng thép tiêu thụ tron các công trình xây dựng.
